OtterlyAI alternatives (2026): Choose by workflow
OtterlyAI’s low entry price is hard to improve on with another paid tracker. The reason to switch is usually a different workflow, a larger coverage program, or an integration requirement, not a generic desire for more AI features.
Disclosure: We make GeoRamp. These are our buying recommendations, including cases where a competitor or a free workflow fits better. Vendor features are based on official public sources; this is not a comparative performance test.

Recommendations by use case
The order below is for reading. It does not rank market share, popularity, or measured performance.
GeoRamp Our product
- Choose for
- Turning answer gaps into a page-audit backlog
- Price
- $99 Basic; $199 Pro; $499 Business / month
- Watch for
- API-based samples; competitor tracking starts at Pro; reporting delivery needs confirmation.
GeoRamp fits an SEO owner who wants prompt observations, citation evidence, and deterministic page checks together. That can be useful when the work ends in a concrete page change owned by a small team. Competitive tracking starts with Pro.
GeoRamp Basic costs more than Otterly Lite and lacks substantiated direct Google AI Overviews monitoring in the reviewed plan matrix. Do not switch if those are the deciding requirements.

Peec AI
- Choose for
- Shared analysis of recurring cited sources
- Price
- $95 Starter; $245 Pro; $495 Advanced / month
- Watch for
- Three active models on listed self-serve plans; extra models and advanced access may cost more.
Peec AI is worth evaluating when your bottleneck is several colleagues investigating sources and comparing buyer-question coverage. Its self-serve plan lists three active models and unlimited users, and its documentation explains source-gap analysis.
Bring your full engine and project list. Peec’s lower tier does not automatically include every model or reporting integration, and its entry price is above Otterly Lite.

AthenaHQ
- Choose for
- Connecting visibility analysis with content actions
- Price
- $295 Starter / month; initial Essential credits free
- Watch for
- Starter is credit-metered; API and extra credits are paid add-ons.
AthenaHQ provides documented analytics and CMS integration workflows. Choose it for a real operational handoff that your current tracker does not cover. For example, test whether a cited integration misconception can become an approved correction in your existing CMS.
Metered credits and API add-ons change the cost comparison. Review the schedule estimate with the team before assuming that all advertised engines will be monitored every day.

Scrunch
- Choose for
- Diagnosing agent access and planning content delivery
- Price
- $250 Core / month; Enterprise quote
- Watch for
- Core is one brand; AXP and expanded enterprise controls require a quote.
Scrunch is a relevant alternative when the investigation has moved from missing mentions to how agents fetch the site. Its monitoring, traffic documentation, and Enterprise AXP offer address that technical workflow.
This is a more involved purchase than a small recurring prompt list. Establish a real access problem and an engineering owner before paying for a delivery project.

Free manual audit + Search Console
- Choose for
- A temporary audit or tiny question set
- Price
- $0 software subscription; your time and any AI account costs
- Watch for
- No unattended cross-engine history; manual samples do not represent all users.
A spreadsheet with dates, countries, platforms, answers, and citations may be enough when you only revisit a few questions occasionally. Add Search Console for Google indexing and traffic evidence rather than paying to collect data no one reviews.
Manual work needs repeatable settings and complete records. It is a poor replacement when daily history or several concurrent client programs drive the purchase.

When keeping OtterlyAI is the better decision
Stay with OtterlyAI when the tracked questions are relevant, the included surfaces fit, and the team can already turn the report into work. Lite’s $29 price and 15-prompt limit are reasonable for a narrow monitoring program. Upgrading within Otterly can be simpler than changing systems if only the allowance is the problem.

Compare the full working configuration
Write the non-negotiable requirement before requesting demos: the named surfaces, prompt cadence, number of brands, reviewers, exports, and any publishing or log connections. Eliminate a plan that cannot meet it before comparing prices. A cheap tool that leaves a required task manual can be the more expensive workflow.
Have each shortlisted vendor show an answer and its supporting source on one of your own buyer questions. Check how failed runs, ambiguous names, and absent citations appear. Ask what you can retain if you leave. These are procurement checks, not claims that one provider has a superior benchmark score.
What we can substantiate about GeoRamp
GeoRamp has prompt management, daily refresh jobs, stored answer analysis, citation/source views, visibility and sentiment views, competitor analysis, and a deterministic page-audit implementation. Its public plan matrix names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok. The implementation uses provider APIs; those samples should not be presented as the exact answers a logged-in customer sees in the consumer applications.
Basic includes one brand and one seat. Pro includes two brands, three seats, and three tracked competitors. Business includes five brands and six seats. The published annual totals are $948, $2,028, and $5,028, equivalent to $79, $169, and $419 per month when paid annually. Visitor analytics and generated GEO articles are marked coming soon.
The Business matrix advertises API access and white-label reports, but our implementation review found placeholder report download, sharing, and scheduling actions. Confirm the specific working delivery path before buying for those requirements. We also have not established a shipped native Google Analytics or Search Console connector, SSO, SKU-level shopping tracker, or CDN content-delivery service.

Migration checks that protect your evidence
First identify whether your existing subscription is direct Otterly or the separate Semrush App Center package. The marketplace listing has its own price, limits, and cadence. Retain the original questions and snapshots, then establish how the replacement treats missing AI Overviews and unavailable runs before comparing coverage.
Run the replacement long enough to see the actual review workflow: a finding, an owner, a proposed edit, and a checked follow-up. Keep a record of the collection settings and migration date. Do not report an apparent lift as customer growth or causation without separate outcome evidence.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the best OtterlyAI alternative?
- The best replacement depends on the job. Use the recommendations above to select monitoring, source-analysis, content-action, or technical-access workflows. There is no supported universal ranking in this guide.
- Can I replace a paid platform with Search Console?
- Search Console is free and useful for Google search and indexing. It does not provide unattended cross-engine brand mentions and citations. Pair it with a manual answer log for a small baseline; use a monitoring product when recurring coverage is needed.
- Will the new product preserve my historical scores?
- Not necessarily. Changes in prompt set, collection interface, model, country, brand matching, or denominator can break comparability. Retain original exports and mark the change rather than blend unlike samples.
Sources and research notes
