GeoRamp vs AthenaHQ (2026): Credits, integrations, and content actions

By GeoRamp editorial team. Researched .

A platform can advertise many AI models while giving you too few monthly responses to sample all of them every day. AthenaHQ’s credit model makes coverage planning part of the purchase. GeoRamp publishes prompt, brand, and answer allowances by tier.

Disclosure: We make GeoRamp. These are our buying recommendations, including cases where a competitor or a free workflow fits better. Vendor features are based on official public sources; this is not a comparative performance test.

Which product would we choose?

The order below is for reading. It does not rank market share, popularity, or measured performance.

GeoRamp Our product

Choose for
Defined daily monitoring limits for a small SEO team
Price
$99 Basic; $199 Pro; $499 Business / month
Watch for
API-based samples; competitor tracking starts at Pro; reporting delivery needs confirmation.

GeoRamp has transparent monthly prices and plan limits for a recurring monitoring workspace. For a team with its own CMS process, separating observation from publication can fit the existing division of work. Pro is the relevant tier when named competitor tracking is part of the requirement.

Do not pick GeoRamp to replace Athena’s documented native integration and content-action workflow. Generated GEO articles are explicitly coming soon in our plan configuration, and our review did not establish native GA4 or Search Console connectors. Those gaps matter if one dashboard is supposed to own the entire process.

Review GeoRamp plans

AthenaHQ

Choose for
Credit-metered coverage with integrated content actions
Price
$295 Starter / month; initial Essential credits free
Watch for
Starter is credit-metered; API and extra credits are paid add-ons.

AthenaHQ Starter lists $295/month and 3,600 credits. The plan page defines a credit as one AI response and lists coverage across 11 models. API access and additional credits are paid add-ons, so the headline subscription is not necessarily your complete bill.

Its onboarding and integration documentation describes Search Console, GA4, and CMS connections. We would favor it when a team needs to carry an observed answer gap into a content workflow in the same system. Essential lists an initial free allocation; confirm replenishment and ongoing costs rather than assume free daily tracking indefinitely.

Review AthenaHQ's official information

Calculate the schedule before comparing prices

Suppose you want 20 questions, three engines, and 30 daily runs. That is 1,800 response observations in a simple one-response-per-question design. It is an illustrative budget calculation, not a vendor performance benchmark. Additional personas, countries, fan-outs, or repeated samples can increase the requirement.

Bring your real schedule into Athena and inspect the displayed credit estimate. Ask what consumes credits, what happens when they run out, and whether retries, generated content, or other actions use the same pool. Compare the resulting configuration with GeoRamp’s actual tier limits.

What we can substantiate about GeoRamp

GeoRamp has prompt management, daily refresh jobs, stored answer analysis, citation/source views, visibility and sentiment views, competitor analysis, and a deterministic page-audit implementation. Its public plan matrix names ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Grok. The implementation uses provider APIs; those samples should not be presented as the exact answers a logged-in customer sees in the consumer applications.

Basic includes one brand and one seat. Pro includes two brands, three seats, and three tracked competitors. Business includes five brands and six seats. The published annual totals are $948, $2,028, and $5,028, equivalent to $79, $169, and $419 per month when paid annually. Visitor analytics and generated GEO articles are marked coming soon.

The Business matrix advertises API access and white-label reports, but our implementation review found placeholder report download, sharing, and scheduling actions. Confirm the specific working delivery path before buying for those requirements. We also have not established a shipped native Google Analytics or Search Console connector, SSO, SKU-level shopping tracker, or CDN content-delivery service.

Test one action through your publishing workflow

Choose a factual answer gap on an existing pricing, integration, or product page. Ask the platform to identify the supporting evidence and propose an edit, then have the content owner review it. A generated page that duplicates an indexed URL creates maintenance work rather than solving the original gap.

If you evaluate a CMS integration, establish how drafts, approvals, and changed product facts are handled. Keep factual review in your normal publishing process. Neither a large model list nor an automatic action proves that the final content will be included in an answer.

When a free workflow is enough

If you need a first diagnosis rather than unattended monitoring, use Search Console for Google crawl and indexing checks, inspect the public HTML, and keep a small manual answer log. Record question, platform, country, date, answer, and source URL. Include failures and absent answers rather than silently dropping them.

The free workflow costs time and may require an existing AI account. It is better when you have a narrow problem and someone can run and review the checks. Upgrade when recurring collection, shared evidence, or broader coverage changes the decision. Search Console does not provide cross-engine brand-mention tracking.

Frequently asked questions

Does AthenaHQ Starter include API access?
The current plan page explicitly lists API access as an optional paid add-on on top of Starter. Confirm its price and access scope. The $295 subscription should not be treated as an all-inclusive API price.
Why might the visibility scores disagree?
Prompt selection, model or interface, country, schedule, context, and brand matching can differ. Inspect those settings and the underlying answers before comparing percentages. A score difference is not a controlled accuracy test.
Will buying either product guarantee more AI citations?
No. Monitoring can reveal sampled mentions and source gaps; page work can improve access and clarity. Inclusion depends on the answer engine and question. Google documents no special AI markup requirement or inclusion guarantee.
